Fresh Responses: Working together for a healthier, hunger-free community

2014-2015 Annual Report

Fresh produce is vital. It nourishes and helps us live healthier lives. Every day, apples, pears, oranges, carrots, cucumbers and more await those in need at Greater Chicago Food Depository programs and partner agencies in Cook County.

Just as fresh produce nourishes hungry men, women and children in our community, a fresh response to hunger fuels our effort to realize a day when no one goes hungry. In the 2014-2015 online annual report, read about some of the fresh ways the Food Depository is fighting hunger, from new partnerships, to expanding veterans programs, to SNAP Outreach and more.

The mission of the Greater Chicago Food Depository is to provide food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community.
