1 City, 1 Food Drive Celebration |

On Nov. 24, join Greater Chicago Food Depository partners, supporters, volunteers and staff in the South Lobby of the Merchandise Mart to celebrate this year's 1 City, 1 Food Drive effort. The city-wide food drive unites more than 200 organizations throughout November and December. It is a critical source of food, as the Food Depository is serving more than 812,000 - 1 in 6 - men, women and children in Cook County annually. This year's goal is to collect more than 1 million pounds of food. The celebration event will include a raffle for signed Chicago Blackhawks items, holiday entertainment and more. It is an opportunity for us to come together to proclaim that no one should go hungry! Monday, November 24, 2014, 8 a.m. |
