Bastille Day, a 5K/8K run and block party will be partnering with the Greater Chicago Food Depository by hosting a food drive on-site. 

The event takes place Thursday, July 10, in Lincoln Park (Cannon and Fullerton), with the 8K race stepping off at 7:15 p.m. and the 5K race at 7:30 p.m. 

The Food Depository will have a tent and table with brochures, where guests can donate both food and funds during the event. These contributions help alleviate hunger for nearly 800,000 food insecure men, women and children living in Cook County.
