Boy Scouts "Scouting for Food" Drive (through Dec. 13)

Boy Scouts Chicago Area Council logoThe Boy Scouts of America's Chicago Area Council is partnering with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to collect nonperishable food this holiday season. The effort is part of the 1 City, 1 Food Drive campaign, which unites more than 200 organizations to collect food throughout November and December.

On Dec. 6, Boy Scouts will go door-to-door throughout the Chicago area distributing empty bags. Residents are asked to fill the bags with food donations. On Dec. 13, Boy Scouts will return to collect the filled bags and donate them to the Food Depository.
